Leadership is a Process not a Destination

In order to be a Successful Real Estate Agent you must infuse your business with leadership skills; Some of you may be thinking that leadership does not apply to you since you work for yourself and you have no employees; I think that is shortsighted; let me explain…

1. Here is a quote by John Maxwell that illustrates the point:

“Most people who want to get ahead do it backward. They think, ‘I’ll get a bigger job, then I’ll learn how to be a leader.’ But showing leadership skill is how you get the bigger job in the first place. Leadership isn’t a position, it’s a process.”

2. The first person you must lead is yourself, therefore nurturing your Leadership Skills will always pay off.

3. Those who choose to develop the leader within develop confidence and presence; 90% of a Listing presentation is confidence and elegance.

4. Leaders are planners driven by Vision; most Real Estate Agents are reactive and work one Day at time.

5. To be leader is to offer a larger presence of who you are; it transcends the upcoming closing or a particular sale.
