Distinguish Process from Outcome

In the Real Estate Estate Business Agents become successful when they start closing deals; this is obvious – the fruit of their labor are only collected once a property changes hands; in other words agents are paid on commission and this can be quite stressful. This leads many agents to focus and stress over the Outcome and second guess the Process that gets them to the closing.

Keep these ideas in mind:

1. “Process” are the steps you take to generate new business; the steps of Prospecting; the steps of a Listing Presentation; your Internet Marketing Steps; your daily business habits; etc…

2. “Process” is in your control – it is driven by systems and good habits. Develop Methodical Plans that you implement regularly.

3. You can only foster the conditions that lead to a “Closing”, or “Outcome” – but you cannot force it. Accept what is in your control and what isn’t.

 

Process versus Outcome

Try this Affirmation:

“I will be Honest about the choices I make focusing on the Process… I will accept the Outcome as it is and use it to become Stronger!”
